In August, 2003,
Saurobot was demonstrated at NIWeek 2003,
an annual conference organized
by National Instruments, one of the
principle sponsors of BotLabs.
On September 8, 2003, Saurobot was demonstrated for a First Lego League robotics competition team at a local school.
The BotLabs Open House was held on October 18, 2003, during which friends and family got to see Saurobot in working condition. Since it was scheduled for competition the next weekend, this could have been the last time it was working for a while...
Saurobot competed at MechWar 7 in St. Paul, MN on October 25th and 26th, 2003. Highlights and final standings are now available.
On November 20, 2003, Original Code Consulting and MSE exhibited Saurobot at the National Instrument Technical Symposium.

Future
Saurobot Activities:
Saurobot is taking a
short vacation. After the new year, we plan to rebuild the body
of Saurobot I with numerous improvements, with the goal of competing in
a future MechWar competition.
